Spirituality and Mental Health
Anxiety and Depression
As a licensed independent social worker, a mindfulness practitioner, a dancer, a movement teacher, and a student of various mind-body and somatic approaches to movement and meditation, I bring a variety of perspectives and unique techniques to my work.
In counseling together, we will take your lead. We'll explore mind-body connections, practice embodiment and interoception (feeling the body from the inside out), and develop your personal empowerment and creative tools to weather life's ups and downs.
I am open to exploring all of life's challenges-- it's important to note that I am trauma-informed and that I encourage (but never force!) movement and mindfulness. I am comfortable and enjoy working with people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, gender non-conforming, gender-fluid, straight, monogamous, open, curious, questioning, asexual, polyamorous, as well as other gender and sexual identities and relationship statuses. I am very open to using the terms that feel most comfortable to you.

ceremony for the life cycle
Common LIFE CYCLE EVENTS that deserve recognition and celebration include:
personal/family/group rituals and ceremonies
Life cycle ceremonies are an important way to honor the sacredness in our lives and to create a powerful sense of meaning in our life experiences and transitions.
I can work with you and your loved ones to craft and/or facilitate a ceremony to honor any life cycle event.
I take a sacred and secular approach in striving to create a ceremony that most represents your beliefs, desires, relationships, and connections.
If you are looking for support in creating a personalized and inclusive opportunity to celebrate or honor a life experience, I would love to support you.
